Monappoly: Property Pandemonium is an independent, unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Hasbro, Inc. MONOPOLY® is a trademark of Hasbro. The app is free to use.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Monappoly: Property Pandemonium ("we", "us"), operated by JC Foundry. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Who can use the app

You must be at least 13 years old to use Monappoly: Property Pandemonium. By using it you confirm that you are 13 or older and that the information you give us is accurate. If you are using the app somewhere that sets a higher minimum age for online services, you must meet that age.

2. The service

Monappoly: Property Pandemonium is a free companion app for a physical, house-ruled tabletop game — it keeps track of money, cards, properties, and turns while you play on a real board. It does not involve real money, real prizes, or gambling of any kind; all in-game currency and assets are fictional and have no monetary value. The app is provided free of charge, "as is", and may be changed, limited, suspended, or withdrawn at any time.

3. Your account

Keep your login details secure and do not share your account. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
Provide accurate registration information and a valid email address (used to confirm your account and for recovery).
Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
One person may not maintain multiple accounts to evade a restriction, ban, or block.

4. Acceptable use

When using Monappoly: Property Pandemonium, you agree that you will not:

Harass, bully, threaten, defame, or abuse other players, or invade their privacy.
Post or send content that is unlawful, hateful, discriminatory, obscene, sexually explicit, or otherwise offensive — including in display names, board names, board designs, messages, and reports.
Impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
Upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt or overload the service, or probe or scan it for vulnerabilities without our written permission.
Scrape, copy, or harvest data or content from the app, or reverse-engineer, decompile, or resell any part of it, except to the extent the law does not allow such a restriction.
Use the app for any illegal purpose or in breach of any applicable law.
Cheat, exploit bugs for unfair advantage, or interfere with other players' games.

5. Content you create

You keep ownership of the content you create — your display name, custom board designs, messages, and any text you submit ("Your Content"). You are solely responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to post it and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or break these Terms.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and share Your Content only as needed to run the app and its features (for example, showing your display name to other players, or sharing a board design with the friends you choose). We do not sell Your Content. We may remove, hide, or edit content that breaks these Terms, and we may filter or block names and text that appear to contain prohibited content.

6. Community & moderation

You can block and report other users. We may review reports and take action — including removing content, restricting features, disabling, or deleting accounts — where we consider these Terms have been broken. We keep a record of moderation actions. We aim to be fair but do not guarantee any particular outcome or response time.

7. Intellectual property

The app, its software, design, and branding (other than Your Content and any third-party materials) belong to JC Foundry and are protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right in them beyond using the app as intended. If you believe content on the app infringes your rights, contact us using the details below and we will look into it.

8. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the app at any time and delete your account from your account settings. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access — with or without notice — if you break these Terms, to protect other users or the service, or if we stop offering the app. On termination, your right to use the app ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability) continue to apply.

9. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any data or game state will always be preserved. You use the app at your own discretion and risk. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you have that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app. Because the app is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for any claim relating to it is limited to the greatest extent the law allows. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction — without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
